Dr. Cynthia Toze completed her Hematology and Leukemia/Bone Marrow Transplant training in Vancouver and joined the Attending Staff after completing her Masters in Epidemiology at UBC in 1995. She has been involved in the development of computerised databases in Vancouver and at the national level.
Her research work has included the study of cytomegalovirus infections in transplant patients and the use of allogeneic (donor) bone marrow transplants to treat chronic lymphocytic leukemia and low-grade (indolent) lymphomas.
