Dr. Thomas Nevill founded the Bone Marrow Transplant Program of Atlantic Canada in 1991 and acted as its Director for five years. He joined the Leukemia/Bone Marrow Transplant Program of BC in 1996.
His research interests include prognostic factors and new therapies in myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), prevention and treatment of graft-versus-host disease (GVHD), and attempting to reduce the psychological impact of bone marrow transplant on patients and families.
