Family Caregiving Video Series

In recognition of National Caregiver’s Day, the Canadian Virtual Hospice has launched a series of 16 how-to videos to support family and professional caregivers with accessible instructions and visual demonstrations for common caregiving tasks.  Free.

Leukemia & MDS Support Group: Vancouver

This support group is open to people diagnosed with leukemia or myelodysplastic syndrome, as well as their families and friends. Free Program.

Myeloma Vancouver

A supportive atmosphere for patients with MM and family members and caregivers to share information and experiences. Free program.

Blood Cancer Monthly Information & Discussion Group

Come and meet others who are affected by blood cancers in order to share, learn and raise awareness. Free program.

Stem Cell Donor Regsitry Event: Victoria

Here is an in-person opportunity for young, healthy people to sign up as potential stem cell donors at this “Swab Mob” event. Everyone is welcome to attend this event as creating awareness and education are key. RBC Community Development Manager, Shelley Eaves and Canada’s Men’s Eight Rowing Cox, Olympian Brian Price will speak to their personal journeys with leukemia.
